My Son Had A Bad Case Of Poison Ivy, So

My son had a bad case of poison ivy, so bad he needed a shot, antibiotics and a steroid treatment. It seemed to clear up, but after a week off the treatment, is now reoccurring on his other leg and popping up around his body. I hate to treat the same way again, is there something else we can do?
