My son had a high temp of 39-40 degrees Celsius today
At the a and e today he was diagnosed with croup.
The Dr gave a steroid and ibuprofen
After an hour and a half the temp still didn't go down they gave more melds , some paracetamol? We had to wait another hour for the fever to go down.
Now my son didn't eat or drink anything since. He tried to eat but couldn't swallow.
He is asleep but I'm worried as his temp has been only 34.4 degrees Celsius for the last two hours. Should I be worried. I have wrapped him in a blanket and the temp stays low.
