My Son Had A Meniscus Repair Surgery Two Years Ago

My son had a meniscus repair surgery two years ago has still not recovered and now the drs say there is another tear . he has another small cyst behind his knee and his knee pains him all the time , Cortizone shot and maybe surgery to remove some more part of meniscus is suggested is there any other alternate treatment.
