My Son Had A Tonsillectomy And Adenoidectomy On Mon The

My son had a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy on mon the 11th. He started back at school this past mon and this evening he resumed his basketball class. He just got up with what clearly sounds like strider and then a cough. I was able to get him to calm down drink a tiny bit of water and back to sleep. I'm concerned that there is bleeding or swelling taking place (perhaps after the physical activity) that is causing the strider. I want to know if this is an emergency.
