My son had an MRI recently with contrast that showed fluid-filled mastoids bilaterally should I be worried about infection? Can this be treated. A little history My son is non verbal he has a rare chrosome defect called 6q-negative he has had reconstruction ear drum surgery twice on both ears (mastoidectomy) he started falling and couldn't stand his balance is very bad .
