My Son Had An Infection Of Strep In His Bloodstream

My son had an infection of strep in his bloodstream about 5 months ago. He caught strep again and has been treated with antibiotics but his eob count stays high at around 7%- what does eos mean and should I be concerned. He's still ache with sore throat and stomach aches. Can you help me. Thanks
