My son had his spleen removed 6 months ago, was 100% larger than normal. He takes 500mg of amoxicillin daily. He was also diagnosed at a young age with low platelets and still has that after spleen removal. He has been sick several times this fall and just finished 14 days of augmentin last Wednesday for an ear infection. Running a low grade fever tonight and very tired. Advice ...
