My Son Had Loss Of Bladder Control And Did Not

My son had loss of bladder control and did not even realize it was happening and less than five minutes later fainted and hit his head. We went to the emergency room and could not find a immediate cause so we were told to follow up with our doctor. He is 16 and overall been healthy, what are some of the causes for this?
