My son has Down syndrome and is 26 year old and non verbal with a high tolerance to pain. On May 1st he had a blood clot is in the right external iliac vein down to the rest of the leg. He is on Xarelto but his leg is still really swollen. Is this common that his leg would still be swollen a month later?
