My Son Has Been Throwing Up And Pooping All Day.

My son has been throwing up and pooping all day. He now feels like someone is punching him in his stomach. Should I be worried and take him to the ER? He says it doesn't feel like past flu like symptoms. He cant sleep, and when he does, he wakes up crying.
