My Son Has Had A Staph Inffection Since July...told The

My son has had a staph inffection since July...told the it was "chicken pox" in the emergency room.....he finally returned to emergency yesterday & was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and staph.....he was given a prescription for Amoxtr-k clv 825-125- I see in another response that this should not be a treatment for staph......how you advise us from here.? I had staph years ago & was treated by IV for 6 weeks with rimpamfkin & rocephin...then keflex for 6 months......is he getting enough antibiotics?
