My Son Has Hidradenitis Supertivia And I'm Looking At Ways

My son has hidradenitis supertivia and I'm looking at ways to help him. Seems like he has been on antibiotics forever (just prescribed by dermatologist Friday). Wouldn't a break from antibiotics be helpful - I've been looking at inflammation and food allergies/leaky gut and I don't think anyone knows how to treat this rare condition which is inflammation based.
