My Son Has Reoccurring Blood Clots In His Legs Over

My son has reoccurring blood clots in his legs over the past two and a half years. He is also an alcoholic and now when he drinks the past three times his face and neck turn bright red and splotcey. He also does not fell good. He will drink anywhere between 20-30 beers a night. Any connections between the blood clots and the drinking and/or the red face and neck when he does drink?
