My Son Has Severe Cold After About 3 Weeks Of

My son has severe cold after about 3 weeks of tonsillectomy and he sneezed hard I could see reddish brown thing with his mucus. He was operating on 20th April 2016 for Adenoid tissue and tonsils removal. Is this something to be worried about? he has a runny nose.
