My Son-in-law Has Been Sick For 3 Years- Gone To

My son-in-law has been sick for 3 years- gone to Duke and Mayo clinic with no diagnosis- he was cauterized at Mayo 2 weeks ago while doing a procedure- has had some bleeding since- tonight he is having severe pain and blood clots- is it safe wait until morning to see a doctor.
