My Son Is 1 Yr Old He Tries To Walk

My son is 1 yr old he tries to walk but.only with support or atleast he need 1 hand to be hold , his steps r also not tht stable
My doc recommeded .shelcal syrup to.be given.

My question is my lo doesnt like any medicines to be taken can I give shelcal.with nanpro or cows milk
