My Son Is 13. Has Diagnosed Seasonal Allergies And A

My son is 13. Has diagnosed seasonal allergies and a sensitive stomach.
This is his third year with a virus/allergy combo that resulted in a severe sore throat/swollen glands/low grade fever and aches etc. After the virus goes away he has this lingering nausea. He has missed more school than he has attended and it's very very difficult.
The nausea is worse in the evening and morning then tends to get a bit better through the afternoon before the cycle starts again.
The last three days he started commenting that his head was getting hot. No sweating, no other part of his body, he feels dizzy and his vision feels like it's going to black out but never does. The nausea gets worse with it, then the hot head passes, vision and dizziness clear but nausea lingers.
He can move about at times when he starts to feel better but then after a period of movement will start to feel nauseous again.
He only vomits if he eats too much or not at all (morning).
We have seen the family practitioner several times every year they have all said it's allergies. But the usual remedies are not working for these symptoms only for extreme runny stuffy nose type symptoms.(netty pot, zyrtec, zantac, ibuprofen when glands swell).
Any ideas how to move forward to get answers??? We have an appointment on teh 17th with the Allergy clinic but he's sooo miserable.
