My Son Is 15 And Has Been On Metoclopromide For

My son is 15 and has been on metoclopromide for almost a year. The specialist from Dallas said it was o.k. but when i look at the side effects of; thoughts of suicide, complete lack of desire for girls (not having sex, but uninterested) and acting as if he has been smoking marijuana. We just had a checkup in mid march and the doctor got us off one drug and told us to eventually get off the metoclopromide. We are about to do this but should we be very concerned?
