My Son Is 15 Months Okd ..he Hsd Cough So

My son is 15 months okd ..he hsd cough so doctor advised him as ascoril...now suddenly he got fever...it is ranging in fron 99 to 101...i gave him babygesic paracetamol at 7.30 pm...now 12 hrs passed but fever is increasing....can i give syrup again and in what interval..will empty stomach be okay to take syrup...please reply
