My Son Is 20....had Done Drugs(not Sure To What Level

My son is 20....had done drugs(not sure to what level he is on recently). He has mood swings, anxiety, etc...today he thought he was going to be late somewhere, freaked out and started choking himself til his face turned red. Not sure what steps I can take. Thanks
