My Son Is 25 Years Old And Has Been Using

My son is 25 years old and has been using HEAVILY xanax pills. He threw them all out because he wants to stop and he is withdrawing raw. He is talking to himself, sweating, has high anxiety and crying. Mostly his anxiety is off the charts. Should I give him small doses of xanax for the anxiety or let him suffer through the detoxing. I am worried.
