My son is 28 and in trouble. He is possibly an alcoholic. He says he drinks because he is self medicating . He is suffering from gender confusion of some type. He qualifies for medical, and has been seeing a councilor who helped him quit drinking with some type of tranquilizer. But he has never been able to tell her what he believes drives him to drink.
