My son is 28 years old. He was having frequent urination, and some dribbling after urination. Also, urine was a dark color, with a strong odor. He had a urine test done, and they found that he had an infection. he was prescribed antibiotics. Then, they told him that his ketones looked very high in the urine test. He has been dropping weight, and has been concerned that he keeps getting thinner. He is eating plenty of carbohydrates. He is in prison, so his access to medical help and answers is limited. He asked me to look into this for him. Do you think he is at risk for diabetes? What should I advise him to do?
