My Son Is 4 Yrs Now. For Last 14 Months

My son is 4 yrs now. For last 14 months he has been prescribed Budecort 100 2 puffs two times daily with zorostat spacer and levoline (SOS) because he gets cold and severe cough regularly within 15-25 days . Dr said, he will be better at the age of 6 or 7. Now he gets cold but it does not look so severe. But how long Budecort can be used ? What is the side effects?
