My Son Is 47 Years Old And Was Healthy As

My son is 47 years old and was healthy as a horse until he had a stroke and cardiac arrest. He is now on a trach and can not eat or drink water which he so loved. It hurts me to see him this way. What can be done for these patients thaat have to live like this. It seems to me that this kind of ilness is overlooked and not much is made of it. My son is so severly depressed that he never opens his eyes. I think that will get the best of him and he will die of depression. Please help me . Im his mother.
