My Son Is 7 Years Old And Has A Bed

My son is 7 years old and has a bed wetting problem. This morning it smelled like poop. It was so strong I couldn't even be in the same room. He has had a cough and runny nose but nothing serious. I have been making sure he has been drinking plenty of water. What can cause such fowl smelling urine and should I take him to see a doctor?
