My Son Is 7 Years Old And Has Walling Up

My son is 7 years old and has walling up in the middle of the night worth horrible stomachs pains and chills so bad that he cannot stop shaking. We ask if he needs to go to the bathroom arms he will always try and will sometimes poop. He does complain throughput the day too but at night is the worst. I'm really afraid something really bad is going on. Should I take him to the hospital?
