My Son Is A Police Officer. He Is 25 Years

My son is a police officer. He is 25 years old no health issues. He is experiencing nausea frequently and vomiting. almost every day for past 2 months. He went to dr and had lab work done. his ast and alt were severely elevated, is this connected with his symptoms? He was bitten from a suspect in late december and had stitches in his hand from the bite. No issues with his lab work then.
