My Son Is Six Years Old He Has A Fever

My son is six years old he has a fever he has a ear Infection I took him to the doctor today and both ears and his throat is sore he is just now crying that his armpit hurts really bad by the armpit/side area I see nothing wrong with the armpit no cuts no bruises what could this be it's hurting so bad that it's making him cry? Please help !!
