My Son Is Supposed To Have His Wisdom Teeth Removed.

My son is supposed to have his wisdom teeth removed. We were referred to the oral surgeon by our dentist but I'm wondering how I can check his background/record. He seems nice enough, but the office is a bit dull (my son said "dirty" but I didn't get that...just kind of tired looking). I'm uncomfortable having him put my son under anesthesia when I don't know anything about him. Any suggestions?
