My Son Only 12 Days Old Has What I Believe

My son only 12 days old has what I believe an eye infection. I've been reading to just keep it clean by wiping with a warm wet cotton or even using some breast milk since it contains natural antibiotics. Along with a light rub/massage between the eye and nose area. Please any advice as a first time parent would be greatly appreciated.
