My Son Suffered A Concussion Last Wednesday Riding A Roller

My son suffered a concussion last Wednesday riding a roller coaster. This was his second concussion. How long should I keep him home from school? (He did stay home last Thurs. and Friday). If he does go to school, should he have to keep up with all the work being assigned?
