My Son Was Bitten By Either A Copperhead Or Rattle

My son was bitten by either a copperhead or rattle snake approx 3 years ago. He was 17. He was given 10 vials of antivenin. Could this have caused a neurological effects to the brain? He has changed in the last 3years.. Could this have caused a mental disorder? Please help!
