My Son Was Diagnosed With Double Ear Infection And Tonsillitis

My son was diagnosed with double ear infection and tonsillitis Tuesday. He was given azithtomycin because he had a reaction to amnicef and amoxicilian. Today he has hives and is itching. I didn't give the antibiotic today. I did give benedrly which has helped with itching. Should I take him to urgent care?
