My Son Was Prescribed Accutane For His Cystic Acne And

My son was prescribed accutane for his cystic acne and was given bloodtests the same day,the blood test showed he had elevated levels of bilirubin and protein. He has never had any health problems because of it so his dr thinks it may be genetic. If this is the case should he take the accutane he was prescribed that he hasn't started yet since accutane can cause liver problem
