My Son Was Released From Hospital Last Thursday From Having

My son was released from hospital last thursday from having a brain injury (subarachnoid hemorrhage, and swelling from a head trauma). He is on pain meds and miralax but still has not had a bowel movement. It has been 8 days now. He is taking the miralax once a day since thursday (5 days now) and I have been giving him benefiber since yesterday. He is 15 years old. Should we try something else or wait until follow up appointment with doctors on this coming wednesday? Today is monday. Thank you very much.
