My Son Was Running A Temp Of 103 For Almost

My son was running a temp of 103 for almost 24 hours I took him to the e.r they said he had a middle ear infection got his temp down and today he took a nap woke up with the same temp again it went down by bed time now his temp is low to 96 and head is sweaty
