My Son Well Into Puberty Age 14 Is Experiencing Testicular

My son well into puberty age 14 is experiencing testicular pain the last 4 days , mainly when hes sitting down - prior to this he had a tingling senstation going on for a few weeks .There is no swelling but he has noticed tiny cysts on his scrotal skin , of course he wont show his mom! Sounds like puberty to me but he is concerned
