My Son's Friend Jumped On Him While He Was On

My son's friend jumped on him while he was on ground pushing his left shoulder and front of chest in to ground. His arm feels like it's falling asleep. His chest to shoulder area is very sore and it hurts to raise arm up and take a deep breath. Does it require emergency trip or Advil and see if it eases up.
