My Son's High School Baseball Coach Is Very Abusive. He

My son's high school baseball coach is very abusive. He apparently has a great deal of power...he is also the football coach and the school is very small. He is very degrading of the kids, including my son. No one ever does anything, I think from fear....all a kid can do is quit the team. I am just wondering how to support my son without him quitting the team. He loves baseball and just wants to play; however, I fear the affects will have on him. Any Advice?
