My Step Daughter Is 8 Years Old And Still Has

My step daughter is 8 years old and still has daytime 'accidents', the most recent being today. We have come to the conclusion that she would rather wet herself than miss 2 minutes on the playground at school. I'm at my wits end, i can't comprehend being clean not being the priority. Any advise or insight to help me understand better is welcome and appreciated
