My Symptoms Are: Excessive Sweating Around The Head And Between

My symptoms are: excessive sweating around the head and between the legs where they meet the torso. I have had these symptoms for a long time but the doctor(s) I have seen suggest only a specific hair shampoo which does nothing for the problem. I live in the Southwest and it seems to always be hot. But, I have these symptoms even when I am in an air conditioned building. I can feel the cold air but it does not help the sweating problem. I am 68, in reasonably good health, cholesterol - ok (201), glucose - 89 (fasting) and all else was normal. I am wondering if the condition has anything to do with hormones.? I have been through menopause ending about age 58. Help!
