My Ten Year Old Grandson Is Having A Difficult Time

My ten year old grandson is having a difficult time in school with concentration and following orders from his teachers. He is not organzied. His behavior at this time is not a problem in school.. He is on the generic for Concerta. They are upping the dose to 56 mg. He will take this at 7am. Then later in the day he will be put on the smallest dose of adderall to help him concentrate on his homework after school. Is he too young to be on this combination of medicines?
