My Twin(non-identical Sister) Just Had To Put Her Dog Down

My twin(non-identical sister) just had to put her dog down and she behaved as if out of her right mind-behavior I have not experienced in many successive visits(mostly long distance by phone.)

She has some difficult life cirumstances at the moment. I feel very hurt by the way she lashed out at me, for merely calling her to express my condolences. I know that I cannot expect what I might expect from someone else, but it still hurts. I feel discouraged. I question my own worth and sanity. I see a therapist and have for most of my adult life. I enjoy my life. I am worried about my sister's pain and vulnerability, living alone, and now with her dog deceased and cutting herself off from our family.
