My Two Year Old Head Butted Me Two Nights Ago

My two year old head butted me two nights ago and I've had off and on headaches since. This hit was above my left eye on the eye brow bone. Yesterday it was a little bruised feeling and today a little bruised feeling but I have a tingling sensation where it was hit. Is this normal?
