My Upper Legs Have Pain (like A Band Around Them)

My upper legs have pain (like a band around them) and upper arms - shooting pain, have a hard time walking and going up stairs. I'm okay sitting and laying down - turning over in bed is painful. I'm dizzy, nausea. My dr took me off cholesterol pills (crestor) been off 1 week but it feels worse daily. Fell yesterday in my garage going to car - loss of balance
