My Vision Has Had A Double Vision For 5-10 Minutes

My vision has had a double vision for 5-10 minutes two or three times a day. I seem to be aittle light headed when this occurs. I have felt like I may passout. This concernsme greatly especially when driving. Usually the symptoms disapearrer in 5- 10 minutes and I am fine. This occurred abot 5 days ago, before then I had no problems. My wife recently started feeding me banannas and helos starting last week. I don't know if this is the reason or is it somemething else?
