My Voice Is Constantly Hoarse I Am An Occasional Smoker,

My voice is constantly hoarse I am an occasional smoker, lately the hoarseness is worse and now it feels like there's always something in my throat. Recently I had tonsillitis which caused my glands to swell for two weeks and my console to actually bleed is this something that I should be concerned about?
