My White Blood Cells Came Back Really Low (never A

My white blood cells came back really low (never a concern before) and the doctors couldn't figure out why in preliminary tests but then my period arrived (heavily) 48 days later. Does that have anything to do with the white cells being low? I was retested each day several times following the initial low white cell results and all the tests came back with normal white blood cell counts - so it seems that things returned to normal after that initial test. My period is normal and steady now. I'm a healthy, 29 year old female
