My Wife Got Bit In The Head By A Spider

My wife got bit in the head by a spider about a year ago and since then her head has very tender all over and it feels like it swells up in places the er doctor said it was possibly assists and they could come back what can we do to insure that no parasites are in her head and stop the pain
